It's now three consecutive weekends of medals for Mississauga Wolverines basketball squads. And the Ontario Basketball Association-affiliated club saved its best for this past weekend (Feb. 27-28), as its major atom boys' squad earned gold at the Guelph CYO Basketball Major Atom Boys' Tournament.

Six Wolverines earn scholarships Print E-mail

Six Mississauga basketball players have received full scholarships to a private school in Toronto.

Jarryn Skeete, Richard Audu, Jahmar Thompson, Jahvin Bridge, Juremy Seochand and Matthew Atewe, all members of the Mississauga Wolverines Basketball Association, were awarded the scholarships to Metropolitan Preparatory Academy in recognition of their academic excellence and leadership skills both on and off the court.
